Sha Tin Racecourse

Introduction
Sha Tin Racecourse (traditional Chinese: 沙田馬場) is one of the two racecourses for horse racing in Hong Kong. It is located in Sha Tin in the New Territories. It is managed by Hong Kong Jockey Club.Penfold Park is encircled by the track.

Opened in 1978, Sha Tin Racecourse has a capacity of about 83,000 spectators. It features the longest Diamond Vision screen measuring 70.4 metres wide by 8 metres high, equivalent to 4,500 52-cm television sets.
