Location. Island Pacific Hotel is located in the west central section of the Victoria Harbor waterfront in Hong Kong, Hong Kong, two-and-one-half kilometers from Soho and the Lan Kwai Fong dining district.
Hotel Features. The high-rise Island Pacific Hotel features an ultra-contemporary angular exterior and an interior designed to resemble a private luxury residence. It includes conference facilities, a business center and wireless Internet access in public areas for a fee. Recreation amenities include fitness equipment and an outdoor pool with a furnished sun deck. IP Café serves Eastern and Western cuisine buffet style during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours and offers harbor views. The Bar provides cocktails, snacks, afternoon tea, wide-screen television and live entertainment Monday through Saturday evenings. Room service is offered during limited hours. Expert Tip. Man Mo Temple, one of the oldest in the area, contains images of the God of Literature and the God of War, wooden sedan chairs, a large bronze bell and colorful interior and exterior decoration. The most unusual feature of the temple is the large bell- shaped coils of incense suspended from the ceiling. Burned by devotees, the incense coils can burn for several days, spreading a fragrant haze throughout the temple.
